For many years Wayne Price (deceased), Tony
Williams and his his Road & Traffic Education Centre training company
has advocated higher standards of skill levels to improve
driving skills, over 46 years of experience in the Learner,
Advanced and High Performance Training field. It
has now become more apparent that people are becoming
increasingly aware that there are new techniques to learn
since passing their driving test many years previous and would
like to attend courses that would improve their driving
capabilities on the public roads.
In response to this
demand Safer Motoring Courses give conscientious drivers the
opportunity to become safer and more confident drivers.
The facilities available at the Road and Traffic
Education Centre for those who wish to master the art of skid
prevention, control and avoidance, emergency maneuvers, ABS
and Non ABS instruction, demonstrations of Electronic
Stability Programmes, reaction time testing with our ‘chalk
gun’, time to stop exercises
to name but a few with and
advanced and high performance driving instruction on the open
road.
The courses can be tailored to meet individual
needs, from the person wishing to simply increase his
awareness on the open road, to the Fleet operator looking at
cutting
the crash and incident rate (and insurance premium)
amongst his company drivers. Whatever your needs,
a Road and Traffic Education Safer Motoring Course should
be
of prime consideration if you are looking to improve driving
skills.
It
is important to be informed that we have been involved with on
road Fleet training for over 40 years throughout the world and
is not a recent ’ add on’, this gives you the
advantage of high quality instruction honed through years of
experience, it is also important to note that we have
the best participant to instructor ratio in New Zealand
of 3 to 1 for actual driver training, this gives the
participants the opportunity of having an instructor on board
all of the time for assessment, advice and observation
throughout the day. Corporate events and VIP days are run at
higher ratios.
